It’s no secret that I love Los Angeles and as I’m starting to plan a future trip there with my boyfriend, I wanted to tell you exactly why I think it’s the perfect destination for couples looking for a fun-filled trip.
Before COVID hit I was lucky enough to visit LA for the second time and as a place that is extremely close to my heart, I was already mentally planning my third trip back before I’d even left.
While that trip had to be put on hold as a result of Coronavirus, I have FINALLY started to put the plans in motion to return when everything is safe, this time with my boyfriend.
Having been talking about travelling to California with my boyfriend for more than EIGHT YEARS, I am overwhelmed with excitement that it’s finally happening. I met him the day that I flew back from my summer in Orange County back in 2012 and honestly, I haven’t shut up about it since.
I’m not sure what finally convinced him, but I’m glad I’m going to have the opportunity to show my favourite person my favourite place.
As we’re only planning on being there for five days, the plan is to squeeze in as much as we possibly can in that time. It will be tough, but as I believe LA is the perfect destination for couples, it will definitely be worth it.
Whether you’re with your partner or hitting the dating scene with Los Angeles Personals, there are lots of incredibly fun and romantic things to see and do while you’re in the LA area.
Why Los Angeles Is The Perfect Destination For Couples
There Are Lots Of Romantic Opportunities
Although I’ve never been to LA with my boyfriend, there are so many things I have experienced with friends that I know would be even more magical if I was spending it was someone special. From walking along the beach to watching the sunset at The Griffith Observatory, everywhere you look there is an opportunity for romance in Los Angeles.
The Places To Eat Are INCREDIBLE
If you’re a foodie like me and you love a good food-based date, LA will NOT let you down. Whether you’re looking to dine with the stars or you’d rather get down and dirty with a delicious burger, Los Angeles has a little bit of everything. Personally. I’d rather don an In-N-Out paper hat and order everything ‘Animal Style’ than sip fancy champagne on Sunset Blvd, but that’s just me 😉
If You’re Looking For Something Unique, There Are Lots Of Choices
While I love a traditional date, I also love to switch things up every once in a while. Whether that means doing something I’ve never done before or facing a fear, there’s more to dating than endless bars and movie dates.
Luckily, Los Angeles is filled with unique date ideas. From grabbing a pair of hiking boots and hiking to the top of the Hollywood sign to horseback rides at Sunset Ranch, with just a little bit of research you could have enough dates to last you months!
Although it may not be unique, a trip to Disneyland is ALWAYS a good idea, especially if you’ve never been before!
The Weather Is Ideal For Outdoor Dates
If like me, you love outdoor dates, LA is obviously a great choice. With only 34 days of rain on average each year, chances are you won’t need to spend time planning your dates around the weather when dating in Los Angeles. Whether that means a day relaxing at Venice Beach or an evening walk through the skyscrapers in Downtown LA, you’re not going to be limited by the weather (unless 35-degree heat in July is totally not your thing).
I remember watching 90210 as a teenager and always feeling as though they went on the COOLEST dates and honestly, now that I have been there I can see exactly why I felt that way.
There’s Always Something Fun To Do
Finally, one of the reasons I love LA so much is that there’s always something fun to do! I remember watching 90210 as a teenager and always feeling as though they went on the COOLEST dates and honestly, now that I have been there I can see exactly why I felt that way. From studio tours to riding the West Coaster in Pacific Park on Santa Monica Pier, I could easily list off a million fun things to do when it comes to date ideas!
Although I have to wait some time for my next trip to Los Angeles, I have a feeling it’s going to be one I never forget. There’s something so magical about sharing your favourite place with the one you love and honestly, that can’t come soon enough.
