It’s absolutely no secret I love to hunt down the most Instagramable places to eat, especially while I’m travelling.
There’s something about sitting in a beautifully decorated cafe eating delicious food that just makes me so so so happy, like I am sure it does most people. *she hopes*
I talked about visiting places based on their instagramability in a recent post, but what is it I actually love about these places?
When it comes to cafe’s there are far too many things to list, so I thought I’d share just a few with you.
The food is always incredible – I’m yet to visit a place people would consider ‘instagramable’ and not like the food, but maybe that’s just me? I love the effort the goes into to presentation and I think it just adds to the overall taste experience, especially when it comes to cakes and cocktails.
The decor is to die for – My favourite thing about an Instagramable cafe is the decor for sure. The amount of work that goes into these places is incredible and it makes we want to redecorate my entire house. I’m thinking a botanical theme with lots of fairy lights everywhere. That would work right?
It encourages me to try something new – Often when I visit cafes and restaurants I will always have the same thing. Visiting somewhere with a particular dish that is considered Instagramable often makes me step out of my comfort zone to try something new, and 99% of the time I love it…
There’s a lesson here I’m sure.
It gives me something pretty to put on my feed – I know life shouldn’t ALWAYS be about what you post on your Instagram, but as a full time blogger and freelancer I often feel like I have to factor it into my day to day life. Going to somewhere that is instagramable obviously helps with this as it gives me lots of pretty pictures for my feed.
I’m a sucker for hype – I don’t know if I should admit this, but I am an absolute sucker when it comes to hype. If something is trending or has become popular on Instagram I immediately want to go, which sucks when I don’t live in a city. On the plus side, it helps me to plan trips and holidays….
Do you love Instagramable cafes? Where should I go next?
