If you like fun, music, and seafood, then Tin City in Naples, FL is the place to be. The Old Naples Waterfront restaurant will be holding the 10th annual Stone Crab Festival from October 25–27, 2019. This year’s festival is filled with live music, kid’s activities, special sightseeing cruises, special deals from local restaurants, entertainment, and of course, as much delicious stone crab as you can eat.
Stone Crab Festival Things to Do
The Florida stone crab is an important part of southern cuisine and culture. The body of the crab is small, but the large, strong claws are strong enough to break an oyster shell and are a delectable treat that everyone wants. It’s always been a big part of the Naples waterfront experience, and this festival is a celebration of the great (and tasty) stone crab.
This year, the Stone Crab Festival kicks off on Friday, October 25th at 5:00 PM with the cracking of the first stone claw in the Tin City parking lot.
Entertainment includes a Bob Marley Tribute, Matty Jollie, Wilder Sons, Josh Cruz & the Experience, and the Dazzling DelRays. The block party begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday with live music, drink specials, vendor booths, concessions, and shopping. The shopping consists of over 50 vendors, including local businesses that have a variety of unique merchandise and souvenirs. Over 20 local restaurants will feature fresh stone crabs on their menu and a wide variety of other delectable local treats.
