A blogger can never have too many notebooks.
Well, that’s what I keep telling myself anyway…
When I first discovered Bookblock* I fell in love with how customisable their notebook range was, as it meant I could have full control over how the book looked and felt. In a world of bullet journaling and stationery obsessives this was obviously music to my ears.
The process was super easy, with the option to design your own or have Bookblocks talented designers create one for you. I choose to have their designers do work their magic as my design skills are definitely not notebook worthy.
I said that I wanted the notebook to be focussed around my blog design, as I was going to be using it soley for blog planning because lets face it, that really vedoes need a notebook in itself. So, with that in mind the designers used the ‘Kirsty Leanne’ from my blog signature on the front of the notebook, and the cute little drawings Jemma from Dorkface did on the back.
I can’t tell you how happy I am to have a notebook with a illustration of my cat, Dexter, on it.
A couple of days after my discussion with the designers, the first draft of my design was sent over. Everything looked perfect to me, although I said I would prefer the notebook to be a lighter pink so they sent over a new draft so I could confirm it was exactly what I wanted.
Aswell as picking the design I also got to choose the colour of the elastic strap, the ribbon bookmark and the print inside. I opted to stick with the pink theme and have plain pages so that I could let my creativity run a little wild…
Not long after confirming the final details my Bookblock personalised notebook arrived.
I’m so impressed with not only the amazing customer service I received throughout the entire process, but the quality of the notebook itself. It definitely rivals my collection of L1917’s and Moleskine’s. I can’t wait to start jotting down my future plans to take over the world for my blog!
Another exciting thing to add is that Bookblock will be taking part in my latest event that is happening next month – #bloggertikiparty. Everyone that wants to review one will be gifted with their own personalised notebook, how exciting is that!?
How would you design yours?
Lots of love,
