I know, I know, this is kind of last minute but Father’s Day is just around the corner and if you’re anything like me, no matter how hard you try to plan you still end up getting something last minute.
I’m the same with Birthday’s, Christmas and Mother’s Day. No matter how hard I try to plan in advance, I fall flat on my face and spend hours the day before trying to find the perfect gift.
I’m not going to lie, a couple of times I have absolutely nailed it and bought the best gifts ever, but 90% of the time when it comes to Father’s Day I buy my Dad a nice bottle of whiskey.
This year, however, I am going to try something a little different.
In my search for the perfect personalised Father’s Day gifts, I remembered that I had recently worked for GiftsOnline4U, the company that created my stunning Wroclaw Travel Watch. I searched their site for some of the best gifts I could find, so thought I’d share a couple of my favourites.
Personalised Pocket Watch
My Dad has always loved watches; however, I don’t think he’s ever owned an engraved pocket watch. I love how classic this particular watch looks and the fact you can have it personalised means it can be that little bit more special.
I used to think personalised gifts could often look quite tacky, but I think GiftsOnline4u make it look both subtle and stylish.
Personalised Wooden Wrist Watch
When I showed my Dad my Wroclaw watch he absolutely loved it, asking where I got it and how much it was. The Personalised
Wooden Wrist Watch, however, is a bit of a twist on their classic personalised watch, but think it’s got a lot of character and is so different to what everyone else would be wearing. It’s quirky and I always look for that when buying gifts as it means there is no chance they’ll be given the thing item by someone else.
Similar to the pocket watch, the back can be personalised with whatever message you want.
Personalised Home Brew Kit
Both me and my Dad love beer, so I think it would be so fun to try and make his own and not just because I’d get to have a go too. The kit includes everything you need to make 4.7 litres of beer in half an hour and is definitely one of the more quirky gifts in the collection. I didn’t actually know you could buy sets like this, so I know it would definitely be different to anything my Dad will have had before and I love that it’s designed to be a fun and creative gift too!
As well as being an awesome gift, it comes with the option to personalise the barrel and with a set of complimentary beer mats.
Engraved Pint Glass
Sticking with the beer theme, this pint glass is a great gift to get alongside the Personalised Home Brew Kit above, especially as my Dad loves to collect different glasses. The glass is a traditional style pint glass with engraving options as well as added extra of a Personalised Beer.
Black Glass Engraved Photo Frames
Whenever I visit my parents I always realise how empty my house is when it comes to photographs as I don’t have any in frames or on my walls. My Mum and Dad, on the other hand, have them everywhere – although, they are all from years ago now.
I take a lot of selfies with my family (who doesn’t?) so I think a personalised photo frame with a recent picture in it would be a great gift idea.
When it comes to gifts, I think this year I’ll be straying away from the usual bottle of whisky 😉
