For the last few months, me and my blogging bestie Adele Louise Smith have been organising blogger events throughout the West Midlands and South West. Our first, the West Midlands Blogger Meet, was last month and it was so much fun. On Saturday, only three weeks later, we hosted our second event – the #PLBSWMeet in Bristol.
The meet was held at the gorgeous Cosy Club in Bristol, such a cute and Instagram worthy venue. We had the Peacock Room which was absolutely perfect for a cosy meet up with some of the sweetest bloggers ever.
We had two brands attend the event, the first being Dry-U. Dry-u is a new company that make and sell waterproof bags that are designed to keep belongings safe from water exposure and extreme conditions. I absolutely fell in love with them as I think they are great to take to the beach to save any worries that your valuable things will get ruined. I was gifted the Adventure Bag in pink and can’t wait to use it!
The next brand we had there to meet the bloggers was SASS, the feminine intimate skincare range. Lucy, the SASS representative, was so lovely and it was great to hear more about the brand. I had met them briefly before however, it was in a much larger group so it was difficult to talk one-to-one. I definitely think that feminine hygiene is a taboo subject and is something as bloggers we should talk about more, and it will be interesting to see how SASS help change that stigma.
We also had a huge #PLBSWMeet Bristol goody bag for each blogger, a MooGoo goody bag, a Mallow and Marsh Halloween pop and all the Rachel’s yoghurt you could eat. I think everyone went home with enough yoghurt to last a month, although I am not complaining as it tastes absolutely amazing. Similar to our West Midlands event we also held a raffle to raise money for the Mind, the mental health charity. It worked out perfectly as everyone who attended won a prize, amazing!
I’d like to thank the brands and bloggers that came along, it was such an amazing day and so lovely to meet some new bloggers. Also, thank you to Adele’s family for all the hard work. It wasn’t easy lugging 25 goody bags across Bristol ready in time for the event, you’re all amazing. Once again, thank you Adele. I think we make a pretty damn good team!
Did you attend the #PLBSWMeet Bristol? I’d love to know what you thought of the day and your goody bag!
