Chocolates in a Can | Ovidias Giveaway | Blogmas #14

With Christmas getting so close all I seem to be doing is eating chocolate, which is not great for Slimming World at all! One thing I will definitely make an exception for, however, is these amazing chocolates in a can from Ovidias.

When I first discovered Ovidias* I was unsure what to expect from chocolates that are stored in a can and wondered why they were kept this way. Turns out, they keep their chocolates in a can because it helps keep the quality and freshness of each chocolate. They’re all individually wrapped too, which means they stay fresh for so much longer.

The lovely team over at Ovidias kindly sent over three different cans for me to try including their Christmas design, their birthday chocolates and the Fondante can. The packaging is actually so much better than I thought! Although the can is a little thinner than I was expecting, the designs are so pretty and the novelty of having your chocolates in a can makes them a great gift idea for someone who loves chocolates (hint: me).

The best thing about these chocolates was the taste testing. Each can has six chocolates in however they are fairly large and much bigger than your standard Cadbury’s Milk Tray Chocolates, so well worth the money (£18.60 for six cans). The Christmas and Birthday cans had a mixture of milk, dark and white chocolates however the Fondante can was all dark chocolate.

As dark chocolate is my favourite the Fondante can was 100% my favourite, as every single chocolate inside was absolutely delicious especially the dark chocolate pyramid. The milk and white chocolates were lovely too, you can really tell the difference in quality in comparison to other Belgian chocolates as these are probably the nicest I have had in a long time.
