Beauty: MooGoo Skincare Range Review

December 3, 2015

I have been working closely with the team at MooGoo since the beginning of the year, particularly when I have been hosting events as part of Pretty Lovely Bloggers as they have contributed to the goody bags on a number of different occasions now. As I had been loving their samples so much last month they very kindly sent me a range of thing they thought would be perfect for me – they were so right.

For those of you that don’t know MooGoo is an Australian skincare brand that use 100% natural ingredients in all of their products. They focus a lot of their products on different skin issues, with products that are suitable for both babies and adults. If you’re a regular reader, you’ll know how important natural ingredients are to me as I have had a lot of bad reactions to skincare products in the past.

I was so surprised to see how much they had sent me and when I combined it with the samples I already had from events or subscription boxes, I ended up with a huge collection that I am actually so unbelievably happy with!

One of the first full sized MooGoo products I received was through the Blogger Beauty subscription box run by Vix Meldrew a couple of months ago now. This was the Cover-up Buttercup SPF 15 Natural Moisturiser. I’m actually saving this one for summer next year as I have very fair skin and I’m really interested in seeing how this compares to suncream, as the ingredients in it are much better for you.

One of the samples I received at an event was the Full Cream Moisturiser which came in the most adorable little milk carton packing. This cream is designed to dry and irritated skin with 100% natural ingredients, which is why I now keep this one in my handbag as it’s perfect for my very dry hands! It’s a very thick consistency in comparison to some of their other moisturisers, however I have found this is the best formula for my hands.

I’m normally quite put off using oil cleansers for my dry skin, however the MooGoo Oil Cleansing Method is an absolute life saver, I am gutted I’ve almost run out! The cleanser uses moisturising oils to help soothe skin, and oh my gosh, it really works!

I use this pretty much every day (that I remember to do my skincare routine, that is..) and it’s really made a difference, especially now it’s getting colder and my skin is getting quite dry.

Another product that has become a life savour in this cold weather is the Shea Sorbet.I was really intrigued about this so when MooGoo asked me what I would like to try, this was top of my list as it’s a mositurising buter balm for cracked heels, hands and lips.

I won’t be the first to admit I have absolutely horrible cracked heels and lips (even more so now it’s freezing outside), so having a natural product I could use to relieve this really appealed to me. The butter has made an improvement, albeit small, but I don’t think my heels something I was ever going to fix overnight.

My favourite product has to be the Skin Milk Udder Cream, mainly because of how amazing it smells. When I first had samples delivered I opened the box to an amazing smell, which I soon discovered was this. The moisturiser has become one of my go to creams for my daily routine as it really helps ease my dry skin. I actually had two of these so as my Mum loved her little sample I gave her before, I gave one to her. She absolutely loves it and says that ‘it’s really easy to use, makes her skin feel soft, it’s lovely for older skin and smells really nice‘.

Finally, I was sent a Fresh Milk Cleansing Bar in Fresh Buttermilk. I’ve using cleansing bars before from other brands however I think this is the first time I’ve had a 100% natural one as I can really tell the difference. My skin feels so soft after using it!

I’m so impressed with the condition of my skin after using MooGoo products and they’re definitely something I will use over and over. Do you have any go to products for dry skin? I’d love to know what I should try next!

Lots of Love,
Kirsty Leanne xx

I've used (and reviewed!) the Dusty Girls tinted moisturiser, and have another MooGoo moisturiser somewhere from the PLB meet up in Bristol. I've been really impressed with the products, so thanks for introducing me to the brand!
