If you’re going to be late, might as well be fashionably late, right?
I first heard of Little Bit Lavish when I was planning my last event, the #BloggerTikiParty, and I have only just got around to telling you about them. I’m such a bad blogger.
Little Bit Lavish is an amazing subscription box that focuses on making time for yourself, something we all need to do more often than we probably do.
They launched officially in September, however, they very kindly provided 40 blogger boxes for the #BloggerTikiParty guests.
Now, if you’ve read my post ‘#BloggerTikiParty – We Need to Talk’ then you’ll know that there were some items I didn’t receive as people took more than they were entitled too. When Becky over at Little Bit Lavish found out I didn’t get a box she was more than happy to send me one of the launch boxes.
It arrived last month and admittedly it did take me a lot longer to photograph than normal, but oh. my. god. It was amazing.
The theme was *drum roll please*…. MERMAID WISHES.
Best theme ever for a debut subscription box, don’t cha think?
The Mermaid Wishes box included:
- Mermaid Bath Fizzy from Gifts by Little Miss RRP £2.25
- Seascape Sea Salt Body Scrub RRP £16.00
- The Cornish Seaweed Bath Co Natural Soap RRP £2.50
- Teardrop Paua Shell Pendant Necklace from Accessories by Flavia RRP £21.00
- Organic Surge 2-Minute Moisture Hair Mask RRP £8.95
- Guylian Chocolates (the didn’t make it into the photographs)
For only £25.00 for the box, you’re definitely getting good value for money.
I was originally going to review each of the items individually, however I’ve left it quite a while now and I thought it might be better to say how much I admire the hard work that has gone into creating Little Bit Lavish.
For a first box I think it’s incredible, it’s the perfect pamper box that couldn’t be any more on theme if it tried. I can hand on my heart say it’s one of the best subscription box I’ve received and I’ve subscribed to the like of My Little Box, Glossybox and others.
The October box looks absolutely amazing and the ‘Sweet Dreams‘ theme is so clever.
I really can’t wait to see what is to come for Little Bit Lavish. I have high hopes for their Christmas box…
