I haven’t done a favourites post in a while because I honestly found that for my last few I was running around trying to find things I had used a lot that month, rather than sharing the things I really loved. This month, however, I have loved so many things that I couldn’t wait to share them with you.
NYX HD Studio Finishing Powder*
I received the NYX Finishing Powder in a goody bag from the Beauty Blogger Awards about a month ago, and it’s quickly become part of my daily routine. This translucent powder is perfect for blurring pores and creating a really ‘finished’ look, it’s amazing. I hadn’t actually used a finishing powder before, but now I honestly see what all the fuss is about.
Ruby Cosmetics Picture Perfect Brows* Irid Brown
I am absolutely hopeless when it comes to brows and I have absolutely no idea how to get them on fleek (did I use that right?). When I discovered the Ruby Cosmetics Picture Perfect Brow kit, it genuinely changed my brow game. I can’t believe how simple it makes it. There are three stencils, a powder and a brush included in order to create picture perfect brows. It’s so quick and easy, I don’t know how I lived without it before.
Primark Emoji Tweezers
These are a little bit of a random one, but I love nonetheless. How cute are these emoji tweezers? I am a strong believer that more things should have emojis on them…
Bee Good Honey and Camelina Facial Exfoliator*
I have been in contact with Bee Good for a few months now, as part of Pretty Lovely Bloggers events. They’re such lovely people and a couple of weeks ago they gifted me a box of some of their favourite products, it was so generous of them. One of my favourites has got to be the facial exfoliator as it’s really helped bring my skin back to life after I’ve been neglecting it for a few weeks. One of my favourite things about Bee Good is they fully support saving British Bees, something I will always agree with!
Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 1 Palette
I have raved about this palette so many times, but the truth is I just can’t get enough of it. It’s full of Aututmnal shades so I have really been abusing it the last few weeks. I’ve even managed to perfect the perfect smokey eye look using it, which has now become day to day face. I honestly believe that some MUR palettes are just as or even more pigmented than my higher end palettes, making this amazing value for only £6.99.
MooGoo Skin Milk Udder Cream*
Another brand I have been working with Closely is MooGoo, the Australian Skincare brand. First of all, the Skin Milk Udder Cream smells AMAZING, like you wouldn’t believe it. It’s very similar to a light face cream and has become perfect for those days when I don’t want can’t be bothered to do my full skincare routine.
Lottie London Nail Polish* Hispter
I’ve always been an Essie fan when it comes to nail polish, so when I recieved this Lottie London polish in an event goody bag, I kinda felt like I was cheating. I do however, think it’s worth it as this is one of the best high street polishes I have ever tried. The colour is stunning and I think I had it on for four or five days before it started to chip, and that was only a little.
Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick Shade 30
Even though I have so many lipsticks I still felt the need to buy more when October rolled around, and I am so glad I did. I have to admit, I didn’t actually own any Kate Moss lipsticks before now but I am so glad I took the plunge as this shade is gorgeous. It’s the perfect, deep, Autumn and purpely shade. I love it. It wears well and I even on a night out it didn’t bleed once, exactly what I look for in a lipstick…
