When it comes to planning dates, I’ve certainly had my fair share of experience and while I haven’t been on a date with someone new since I met my partner eight years ago, we never actually stopped ‘dating’ each other.
From nights at the movies to walks in the park, we love to treat every outing like it’s a date as it helps make them feel a little extra special.
As I’ve recently shared some of my favourite dates for travel lovers and adventurers, I thought I’d take it one step further and share an A-Z of dates that you could do. That’s TWENTY-SIX incredible dates for you to try over the course of the next few months.
So, whether you’re going on a date with your partner of eight years or you’re doing a bit of Northamptonshire dating, here are some ideas for you to give a go…
A – Z of Dates Perfect For Travel Lovers
A – book yourselves into a random Airbnb and see where the adventure takes you!
B – head to your nearest beach for a day of arcades, seagulls and fish and chips.
C – try cooking a meal that reminds you of somewhere you have travelled together. Not only is it a great bonding exercise, but eating the meal is a delicious way to end a date.
D – does Disneyland count as a date? I hope so…
E – there’s nothing more adventurous than trying to get out of an escape room together, right? If you’re doing a bit of Northamptonshire dating, there’s plenty of options for you to choose from.
F – head to a local festival together. Whether it’s a music festival or a food festival, you’re bound to have a fab time!
G – why not give glamping a try? With everything you need for a cosy night under the stars, this is definitely one for the romantics.
H – go for a hike together. Me and my boyfriend absolutely love hiking, especially if we get to see the sunset over a pretty view at the end.
I – giving indoor climbing a go is a great date idea for those thrill-seekers that love to go rock climbing on their adventures.
J – ever fancied jumping out of a plane? Now’s your chance…
K – grab some kayaks and hit the water for the day. You may not stay afloat for long, but it will be super fun!
L – head out on a local adventure.
M – spend the afternoon wandering around a museum or two.
N – go for a nature walk to see if you can discover something new.
O – this one’s simple as all you need to do for a little adventure is spend some time outdoors.
P – why not give paddleboarding a go? I’ve always wondered if I have the balance for it but honestly, I couldn’t imagine anything better than having a laugh while constantly falling into the water time and time again.
Q – host your own travel and adventure-themed quiz night.
R – road trip, baby!
S – wait until the evening and go stargazing – it’s super romantic!
T – head to the theatre for a matinee.
U – book yourself a little UK getaway.
V – visit a local vineyard to try their wines.
W – head to a local city and go on a free walking tour.
X – play a travel-themed game on Xbox.
Y – do a bit of sunrise yoga on the beach.
Z – Pay a visit to the zoo! Going to the zoo is one of my favourite things to do when travelling and so a trip to your local is always a good idea!
