Jools Drinks Review

I recently received a lovely package from Jools Drinks*, a brand I found through the Bloggers Hangout website. They sent me one of each of their flavours: Lychee Jools in Apple Green Tea, Acai Jools in Cranberry Green Tea and Acerola Jools in Mango Green Tea.

I knew that the 'Jools' part of the drink were little flavoured balls, something that I was extremely about as I fell in love with Boba (Bubble Tea) when I was living in California. I don't have anywhere near me that sells it, so the idea of being able to buy a version I can drink whenever I want was really exciting...

Jools Drinks contain exploding 'pearls' that are filled with fabulous nutrients and vitamins, combined with antioxidant rich flavoured green teas.

The first drink I tried was the Lychee Jools in Apple Green Tea, as I most curious about this one. I love apple green tea, but don't really like lychees. I was actually pleasantly surprised as it was really delicious. The apple green tea was really sweet and the lychee pearls didn't taste too much like lychee, which may be bad for some but it was a win for me! My only disappointment would be it was quite small and there were not as many balls as I was used to...

Oh, and I couldn't figure out how to use the straw?!

The mango green tea was really nice in the Acerola Jools in Mango Green Tea drink, it was nice and sweet but you could still taste the hints of green tea. The pearls in this one burst a lot easier than the apple green tea drink, so it was a little bit more difficult to tell when I was drinking them.

The Acai Jools in Cranberry Green Tea was my absolutely favourite of the three! I don't drink cranberry juice usually as I find it really better, but this tasted amazing! It was really sweet, refreshing and nothing at all like what I expected. The acai beads were really tasted too, they complimented the cranberry perfectly.

I'd also like to point out that I LOVE the design of the Jools bottles - they're so cute! They're so different to anything I've seen before and I love how they are shaped like their 'Jools'. The back also says sugar and preservatives are not invited. HOW CUTE?!

Have you tried Jools Drinks before? Which one would you like to try the most?

Lots of love,

  1. These bottles are adorable and I love that they don't contain extra sugar and preservatives. I think I'd love to try the Acai one - it sounds heavenly!
